Team Vesta raises over $5,500 for the Alzheimer's Association "The Longest Day" Fundraising Campaign
As Senior Care Consultants with Vesta Senior Network, we are first hand witnesses to the stress that caring for someone with Alzheimer's creates.
On The Longest Day, June 21, 2017, we wanted to recognize not only those suffering with this horrible disease, but we wanted to let those caregivers know that we honor and respect their roles. We took this day to bring awareness to their struggles and raise funds that will not only help the Alzheimer's Association #ENDALZ, but also provide support and services for caregivers until we realize a world without Alzheimer's.
We participated in a day of Strength and Endurance in recognition of the strength and endurance caregivers muster on the longest day of the year, as well as every day of the year.
Our Longest Day Activities included:
7:10 am: Insane Cardio Class at Legacy Gym MKE, Thank You Legacy Gym for your support again this year! http://www.legacygymmke.com/
8:30 am: Team Vesta completed a 50 Mile (round trip) bike ride on the Oak Leaf and Glacial Drumlin Trails

Team Vesta is humbled and thankful to all of our friends and family who supported our Longest Day fundraiser to help #ENDALZ. Your individual donations, the generosity of local businesses, and the patrons at Leff's Lucky Town who participated in our raffle and 50/50 helped us to raise over $5500 for the Alzheimer's Association!

This event was held at Westmoor Country Club on October 20th. Joe spoke about the importance of relationships with his players on and off the field. He considers himself an educator, and he sees it as his job to teach his players how to love - love the sport, love each other, love themselves. This love will give ...someone the faith to fight through the fear, the failures, and also be able to enjoy the success.
We appreciate Joe's reminders of the power in relationships. We believe this is one of the reasons why Vesta has been successful. We build relationships with each of our clients and their families. We understand the importance of understanding fully what each client's unique needs are, and it is our goal to do this through building strong relationships.
During this forum, we also encouraged business owners and executives to in attendance to invite Vesta do a "Brown Bag lunch" or "Lunch and Learn" to serve as an educational resource to their SandwichGeneration employees, those who are trying to manage their professional lives, the lives of their families, as well as the care of an older adult.
